Who We Are

Shoot Like a Pro Africa is a groundbreaking cinematography training initiative organized by Eastern Dove Resources designed to empower young African creatives with high-income filmmaking skills. Our mission is to bridge the gap between raw talent and professional expertise, equipping individuals with the technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and industry connections they need to succeed in the global film and media industry.

Since our launch in 2018, we have trained over 130 young filmmakers, many of whom have gone on to establish their own production companies, secure high-paying jobs, and contribute to the growth of Africa’s creative economy.

Our goal is to train 50,000 creatives across Africa by 2030, transforming lives, reducing unemployment, and fostering a new generation of world-class African filmmakers.
