A Life-Changing Initiative
“We are excited to bring SLAP Africa to Port Harcourt this year. This program has changed lives, and we believe 2025 will be our most impactful edition yet. Our mission remains clear—empower African youth with creative skills that open doors to financial independence and career growth.”
— Jude Anyanwu, Founder of SLAP Africa
SLAP Africa recognizes that youth unemployment remains a major issue in Nigeria and across Africa. By equipping young people with high-demand skills in photography and cinematography, the initiative is providing real economic opportunities that help reduce poverty, crime, and social unrest. The photography and cinematography industry is a high-paying profession, with professionals earning up to ₦1-2 million per project. Through this program, more African youth can access job opportunities, self-employment, and financial stability.
